OneTrust Cookie Scanning and CDN Update Cadence

Cookie Scans | Every June 1st and December 1st

Alterra Destinations should have their websites scanned twice a year. Once at the beginning of June, and Once at the beginning of December/ This way we can get ahead of any new cookies that may not have been properly defined in OneTrust, and as a result may not be functioning properly.

The scans typically take 2 - 4 days. It is necessary to follow up after the scans to check the results for any new unknown Cookies.

Most CDN updates are small and can be handled without needing to coordinate with the destinations. They should still follow the

Every CDN change should be thoroughly Previewed and tested before and after deployment in all 4 global locales according to the standards set out in the

OT Change/Update Process⁠

document.

Major CDN updates that have a direct effect on website operations should be coordinated with both the Destination and SiteCore teams.
